Police Officials of SIPA Ran Half Marathon on International No Car Day

After taking part in races organised by the “Marathon Sarajevo” organisation for several years, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) responded to the invitation by the organisers again this year and on Sunday, 21 September 2014 ran the 8th Sarajevo Half Marathon.

The Sarajevo Half Marathon is the largest international sports and social event in Bosnia and Herzegovina with more than 1300 participants this year from 30 countries, organised on the “International No Car Day”.

The Marathon participants started from the square of Trg djece Sarajeva and the signal for the start was given by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in BH Maria Aurora Mejia Errasquin.

The participation of three police officials of SIPA contributed to raising awareness of this important environmental aspect and promotion of healthy life and socialisation. They will respond again to such future events.
