Thanks to the support of the European Union Police Mission to B&H (EUPM), the Head of the Mission Stefan Feller and Mission Advisor Robert Bećak, members of the Special Support Unit were delivered training in special action tactics, applied fighting and sniper operations.

Mentors of the mentioned trainings were instructors recognised at the global and European level.

Recent visit of the Commander of the SIPA Special Support Unit to the Police Academy in Wiesbaden resulted in a series of meetings with high-level officials of Hessen Province on which they discussed modalities of cooperation with regard to further training of the Special Support Unit members.

Dr Achim Tiel, Head of Frankfurt am Main Police, awarded a valuable gift (FAST ROPE) to Mirsad Vilić, the Commander of the Special Support Unit, which will contribute to a better training and safer operational performance of the members of SIPA Special Support Unit.
