Today, April 4th, 2010, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) in a operation coordinated with members of the Border Police of B&H and MoI of Tuzla Canton, arrested seven persons suspected of having committed the criminal offence under Article 250 of the CC B&H (Organised Crime) in conjunction with Article 195 of the CC B&H (Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs).

The operation that was initiated during early morning hours with inspection and search of IVECO cargo motor vehicle on the border crossing point Klobuk (South Field Office in Čapljina) resulted in discovery of over 155 kilograms of narcotic drugs, preliminary identified as „Skunk“.

The drug was wrapped in a foil divided into 150 packages hidden in a secret compartment in the vehicle in which at that time there were two of seven arrested persons.

In the course of the operation conducted in the wide region of Tuzla and Banjaluka, five persons linked to the uncovered narcotic drugs were deprived of freedom.
