Operations Headquarters “Election 2010” Formed

With the aim of unobstructed carrying out of measures and activities for a secure upcoming General Election in B&H, the State Investigation and Protection Agency formed an Operational Headquarters “Election 2010”.

At the headquarters established upon a proposal by the Ministry of Security, apart from representatives from SIPA, there are representatives from the B&H Border Police, Federal Police Administration, Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior, and Brcko District Police.

SIPA, as a state-level police agency in B&H, coordinates the work of other police agencies whose task is securing the General Election in B&H, which among other things, implies securing ballots from the polls towards a repository, as well as securing the premises in which the ballots will be counted.
