Last night (15/10/2015), Within the framework of the operation codenamed "List 1", police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended three persons identified by initials JS, ES and GE due to the grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offense “Organized Crime”, in conjunction with criminal offense “Illicit Trafficking of Excise Products”.

Acting on the request of SIPA, the police officials of the Border Police B&H kept the mentioned individuals last night at the Rača border crossing until the arrival of the SIPA police officials. The apprehended individuals were brought to the SIPA premises for criminal investigation. Thereafter, they will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.

As the follow up activity in this case, yesterday (15/10/2015), SIPA submitted to the B&H Prosecutor's Office a report on the crime committed and the perpetrators against 15 persons due to the grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offense “Organized Crime”, in conjunction with criminal offense “Illicit Trafficking of Excise Products”, all in conjunction with Illicit Trafficking in Tobacco.
