Operation "Damask 4": In The Follow Up Activities SIPA Found Weapons and Ammunition

Today (12/01/2016), in the follow up activities conducted within the operation codenamed "Damask", police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched the terrain in the courtyard of the house used by the suspect NŠ (1988) in the area of Velika Kladuša, with the aim of finding and seizure of items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

Today (12/01/2016), in the follow up activities conducted within the operation codenamed "Damask", police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched the terrain in the courtyard of the house used by the suspect (1988) in the area of Velika Kladuša, with the aim of finding and seizure of items that may serve as evidence in further proceedings.

During the search, the following items were found and temporarily seized: machine gun M72 7.62 mm, automatic rifle AP 4 7.62 mm, military carbine M 48 7.9 mm, semi-automatic rifle PAP 7.62, 302 rounds 7.62 mm, two pieces of maneuvering 7.62 mm ammunition, 25 rounds 7.9 mm, 12 magazines for automatic rifle, one full breech of semi-automatic rifle PAP, one empty bandolier 7.9 mm, and one round of machine gun M 84 7.9 mm.

Individuals identified by initials NŠ (1988), AM (1960) and DžV (1989), who were apprehended yesterday (11/01/2016) in the operation codenamed "Damask 4", were released after criminal investigation in accordance with the instructions of the competent prosecutor of the B&H Prosecutor’s Office. Report on the Crime Committed and Perpetrators against these individuals will be submitted to the B&H Prosecutor’s Office due to the grounds for suspicion of having committed criminal offence under Article 162b of the B&H CC, paragraph (3) "Unlawful Forming and Joining Paramilitary or Para-police Formations" and criminal offence under Article 371 of the FB&H CC “Illegal Possession of Weapons and Explosive Substances”.
