More Than 9.5 kg of “Skunk” Detected, Four Individuals Apprehended

On April 7th, 2011, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials apprehended four individuals, M.M. (DOB 1973), D.V. (DOB 1971), D.G. (DOB 1972) and Ž.G. (DOB 1986), and detected more than 9.5 kg of unknown herbaceous plant resembling the “skunk” narcotic drug. The drug was placed in nine vacuum packages hidden in a vehicle driven by D.G.

Upon criminal processing at the SIPA premises, the apprehended individuals, along with a report on the committed criminal offence set out in the Article 250 Paragraph (2) of the CC B&H (Organised Crime) in conjunction with the extended criminal offence set out in the Article 195 Paragraph (1) of the same CC (Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs), will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H for further processing.

This action was carried out upon the order from the Prosecutor’s Office and Court of B&H.

SIPA police officials will continue carrying out activities with the aim of prevention and detection of criminal offences of illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs.
