In a joint police action of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior on September 7th, 2009 M.LJ. was apprehended on grounded suspicion that he committed a criminal offence from Article 172 “Crime Against Humanity” of the Criminal Code of B&H in the area of Travnik and Kneževo municipalities on August 21st, 1992.

Upon criminal processing at the State Investigation and Protection Agency's premises, M.LJ. will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, upon whose order the action was carried out.

Based on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina order, a search of living and other premises owned by M.LJ. was carried out, and war documentation was retrieved. A report on the search will be forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
