Military Attaches from Nine Countries Visited SIPA

On 25 April 2012, a multi-national delegation of the Military Diplomatic Corps in Bosnia and Herzegovina, composed of military attaches from nine countries, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

During the visit, the SIPA’s Deputy Director Marko Dominković introduced the Agency’s organisational structure and competences, as well as difficulties in the Agency’s work, to the military attaches from Bulgaria, Germany, France, Romania, Spain, China, UK and Hungary.

The military attaches expressed particular interest in the cooperation of the State Investigation and Protection Agency with other institutions in BH, as well as police agencies in the country and the region, and the Agency’s results in combating terrorism.

“The management and all employees of the Agency place combating the most serious forms of crime as the absolute priority. If we want to make this combat even more efficient, the police must be stronger, particularly in technical terms, because types of crime and modi operandi change in time”, pointed out the SIPA’s Deputy Director Marko Dominković.

SIPA’s Assistant Director and Head of the Criminal Investigation Department Anđelko Hrgić and the Head of the SIPA’s Financial Intelligence Department Dragan Mumović also attended the meeting.
