Members of SIPA Special Support Unit’s Diving Team Successfully Completed Ten-Day Training

In the period 27 April – 6 May 2013, in the framework of the continuation of international police cooperation between the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and Police of the Czech Republic, members of SIPA Special Support Unit’s Diving Team attended a training implemented by the Department for Specialised Diving Activities and Training of the Police of the Czech Republic. During the ten-day training held in the Budva Riviera, Montenegro, members of the SIPA SSU Diving Team successfully completed theoretical and practical sections of the training and obtained the following certificates:
- ERDI I Operations (ERDI – Emergency Response Diving International),
- ERDI I Tender Operations,
- TDI NITROX – (TDI – Technical Diving International).

With the implementation of the specialised diving training, stage one in the process of professional development of SIPA’s divers, members of the Diving Department of the Czech Police contributed substantially to the development of overall capacities of the State Investigation and Protection Agency.
