Member of SIPA Awarded Top Student of Operational Shooting Course

A police official of the Special Support Unit of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) was awarded the top student of the Operational Shooting Course held in the Czech Republic, at “Dedice” Czech Military Academy. The course took place from 7 July to 1 August 2014, and the course trainers were instructors from the British Armed Forces (Royal Marines).

Members of the armed forces of Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Macedonia also took part in the course.

The aim of the course was to increase work efficiency of the participants in their own units and in potential international operations, as well as training to individually organise and implement tactical shooting and close combat shooting courses.

This training improved the skills of the SIPA members, which they would use in future, and they would transfer the acquired knowledge to their colleagues.

A police official of SIPA, who was the top student of the course, also received the top recommendations by the instructors from the British Armed Forces, because of which SIPA is particularly proud.
