Meeting between SIPA and Prosecutor’s Office Held


On 10 June 2013, a meeting between representatives of SIPA and Prosecutor’s Office BH was held at the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA). Mr Goran Zubac, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency and Mr Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office BH and their associates attended the meeting.
Cooperation between SIPA and Prosecutor’s Office BH in cases of war crimes, organised crime, corruption and terrorism, as well as improvement of cooperation and better results were discussed at the meeting.
During the meeting, models for efficient communication and removal of any difficulties that might occur were agreed.
For already a decade, the Prosecutor’s Office BH and SIPA have been carrying out investigations and processing the most serious offences of organised crime, war crimes and corruption. Significant results were achieved by joint efforts of these two authorities and a number of perpetrators of these offences were prosecuted and convicted.
 

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and Prosecutor’s Office BH, working in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the road to European Integration, continue the fight against the most complex types of crime. Cooperation with partner agencies in the region, Europe and the world will be improved with the purpose of efficient combating of trans-border crime.
