The Headquarters of Task Force for Combating Terrorism will be in SIPA

Meeting between Chief Prosecutor, Minister of Security and SIPA Director

Today (08/06/2016), a meeting was held in Sarajevo attended by the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Perica Stanic; Chief Prosecutor of the B&H Prosecutor’s Office, Goran Salihovic and the B&H Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić.

The meeting focused on the efforts and activities carried out in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and corruption. It was agreed to intensify the work of the Task Force for Combating Terrorism, as soon as possible, which will be headquartered in SIPA, and for the SIPA Director to provide the premises and the necessary capacity for the work of the Task Force.

The participants of the meeting positively evaluated the progress in the fight against terrorism, which has been recognized in the State Department report, and expressed their willingness to continue activities aimed at strengthening capacities for combating terrorism and related crimes, with special emphasis on preventive action.
