“Lutka” Operation Continued: Member of Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior Apprehended

On 27 September 2012, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in cooperation with members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior and the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior, apprehended a police official from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.

This police official was apprehended in the framework of the “Lutka” operation due to suspicion of providing assistance to a criminal organisation of Darko Elez in 2006, by participating in the supply of arms and military equipment for the perpetration of criminal offences in the territory of BH, through the abuse of authority and powers.

The investigation in the case of “Lutka” is continued with full intensity and it is soon expected to result in solving and documenting new criminal offences perpetrated in the area of Sarajevo and Istočno Sarajevo
