Liberia: SIPA's Official Praised and Promoted

Friday, 25.5.2012, police official of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, Ognjen Crnogorac was promoted for his outstanding success and excellent results he achieved the last year in the UN Mission in Liberia to a position of commander of the Region 2, one of the five regions in this African country.
At the ceremony organised on this occasion, the UNPOL police commissioner in Liberia, John Nielsen, in addition to the promotion, extended Crnogorac’s mandate for six months and praised him for the results he achieved in the period from 26.1. to 25.5.2012 together with his 8-member team composed of the police officials from Uganda, Czech Republic, Argentina, Nepal, Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Crnogorac was assigned to the Mission in Liberia on 3.6.2011. after the successfully completed „entry“ training and all tests to a position of the UN police official in Tubmanburg, around 100 km away from Monrovia, capital of Liberia.
Due to the excellent results he achieved, Crnogorac was selected and appointed to the position of a leader of the team to which he was assigned at the beginning of the mission.
Ognjen Crnogorac is a police official of the State Investigation and Protection Agency since 2005, he is married and father to a one-year-old daughter.
