Kid’s Festival 2011 – More than Hundred Children in Visit to SIPA

On June 13th, 2011, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Special Support Unit was visited by more than a hundred first-graders of the “Vrhbosna” elementary school and the Catholic School Centre from Sarajevo, “Ivan Goran Kovacic” elementary school from Fojnica and “Sveta obitelj” kindergarten from Sarajevo as a part of the eight Kid’s Festival.

In an hour long visit to the SIPA Special Support Unit, the children had an opportunity to climb a tower, play football, walk a trunk, and train at a demanding polygon with obstacles.

Mirsad Vilic, the Special Support Unit commander, and his associates, awarded the most successful participants with school bags and supplies, and t-shirts with SIPA and Kid’s Festival logos were available for all the children.

“Almost every child’s dream is to become a policeman, and many of them dream of becoming members of the Special Support Unit. Every year, a part of that dream becomes a reality for children all over B&H who visit our headquarters. Our goal is to awaken children’s love towards sports and police through these types of activities. Some of them might even become members of SIPA’s Special Support Unit one day”, said SIPA’s Special Support Unit commander, Mirsad Vilic.
