Individual with initials LT Deprived of Liberty in Follow-up of “Damask“ Operation

In continuation of the activities under operation codenamed “Damask” and based on a pursuit launched by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), police officials of Zenica-Doboj MoI arrested the individual with initials LT (1971) in the area of Zenica Municipality today (03/12/2014). The arrested individual was handed over to SIPA members for further proceedings.
The individual was deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 201 of the CC B&H „Terrorism” in conjunction with criminal offence under Article 202d of the CC B&H „Organising a Terrorist Group“ and Article 248 of the CC B&H „Preparation of a Criminal Offence“.
On 03/09/2014, police officials of SIPA, acting upon orders of the Court B&H, searched a residential building used by LT. The individual was not found at the address of residence and SIPA launched a pursuit.
The arrested individual was brought to SIPA premises for criminal processing, whose further status will be decided upon instructions of the acting prosecutor.
