In Operation “Zenica” Members of SIPA Arrested Four Individuals

On 22 July 2013, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), in the continuation of activities within the case code-named “Zenica”, searched buildings at four locations in Vitez and Zenica and arrested four individuals.
In this operation, D.M. (1977), Ž.J. (1977), S.R. (1976) and I.J. (1978) were arrested due to suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in the Article 250 of the Criminal Code BH, “Organised Crime”, in conjunction with the criminal offence set out in the Article 195 of the CC BH, “Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs”, and criminal offence set out in the Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation BH, “Unauthorised Production and Sale of Narcotic Drugs”.
The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, where they will be criminally processed. Within the legal period of 24 hours, they will be handed over for further processing to the assigned Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office BH, along with the report on the committed criminal offence and perpetrators.
The “Zenica” operation is a continuation of a synchronised operation to supress international trade in narcotics, in which SIPA already seized 10.660 kg of “skunk” and arrested five individuals.
