In Laško Operation SIPA Searched Facilities at Two Locations for Unauthorised Storage of Goods

Today, 7/4/2014 – Acting by the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H and Court of B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) as part of Laško Operation searched business and housing facilities at two locations in Sarajevo area and apprehended one individual.

The individual with initials SM was deprived of liberty due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 210b of the CC B&H “Unauthorised Storage of Goods”.

Around 350 bottles of Laško beer not accompanied by the prescribed documentation on the origin, considerable amount of Laško beer metal barrels and certain business documentation associated with the commission of the mentioned criminal offence were found and seized during the search. The goods are handed over to the Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H for further proceedings.

In addition, 96 packages of “Nara” juice, 14 crates of “Union Orange” beer, 18 packages of “Union” dark beer and 16 bottles of “Bandedos Tequila“ all with expired dates, were found. The goods were handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sanitary Inspection of Sarajevo Canton.

SM is brought to the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency where he will be questioned as suspect and against whom a report on perpetration of the criminal offence under Article 210b of the CC B&H will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s’ Office of B&H.
