I.N. Apprehended in Sarajevo upon International Arrest Warrant

Today, January 20th, 2010, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended a person with initials I.N. due to a grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in the Article 171 of the CC B&H (Genocide), and in conjunction with the Article 180 of the same law (Individual criminal liability).

I.N. for whom the Court of B&H issued an international arrest warrant on December 30th, 2008, was apprehended upon the orders by the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H and in cooperation with the police officials of the Border Police of B&H.

After criminal processing at SIPA premises, the apprehended person will be handed over to the preliminary proceedings judge of the Court of B&H.
