SIPA

On 27 August 2014, Charles Bennett, Director of the ICITAP Programme in BH, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA. Future cooperation and capacity reinforcement of SIPA were discussed and the handover of the donation that ICITAP would deliver to SIPA with the US Ambassador in BH was agreed.

The value of the donation is $450.000, and it includes top quality tactics uniforms for police officials of SIPA. The Director of SIPA will formally receive the donated equipment next week at an appropriate ceremony.

During the discussion with the Director of ICITAP, Director Zubac pointed out the reinforcement of material, technical and human capacities of SIPA was one of his priorities, wherefore he particularly appreciated the donation by ICITAP. Zubac said that SIPA had completely fulfilled its legislative role as the leading police agency in BH in combating the most complex types of crime and it would be even stronger in the future.
