GM Apprehended and Several Facilities Searched in Bijeljina

Today, December 18th, 2009, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended a person with initials GM due to a grounded suspicion of committing the criminal offence within the article 171 of the CC B&H (Genocide), and in conjunction with the article 180 of the same law (Individual criminal liability).

After criminal processing at the SIPA's premises, the apprehended person will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of B&H upon whose orders the action was carried out.

The housing and other facilities used by the apprehended person were searched by order of the Court of B&H in the area of Bijeljina. All possible found documentation that can be brought into connection with the war period will be along with the report on conducted search, submitted to the Court of B&H.

The action was performed in cooperation with police officials of the Ministry of Interior of Republic of Srpska.
