Follow-up of Operation Code-Named „Pravda“

Today (2 June 2013), acting by the orders of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of B&H, and as a follow-up of the operation code-named „Pravda“, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), assisted by the Ministries of Interior of Sarajevo and Zenica- Doboj Cantons, carried out a search of the premises in three locations in the area of Sarajevo and Zenica.
As part of the activities, three individuals will be questioned in the SIPA's premises for whom there is grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence „Conspiracy to Perpetrate a Criminal Offence“ set out in the Article 247 of the B&H CC and in conjunction with the criminal offences „Illegal Interceding“ under the Article 219 of the B&H Criminal Code, „Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits“ under Article 218 of the B&H CC and „Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits“ under Article 217 of the B&H CC. The criminal investigation will be conducted over the suspects after which it will be decided upon their further status according to the instructions of the competent prosecutor. Today's searches resulted in discovery and seizure of some documentation related to court verdicts, mobile phones, computers, various notes, paper slips, notebooks and other items brought into connection with the perpetration of the mentioned criminal offences.
To remind, the operation code-named "Pravda" began 26 April 2013, together with "Patriot" and "Memory" operations under which HH was apprehended. The public will be kept informed of the further actions in this case.
