SIPA

Yesterday (26/5/5016), the newly appointed Commander of EUFOR to B&H, Major General Friedrich Schrotter, with his associates, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with SIPA Director Perica Stanić.

Since this was the inaugural visit of the newly appointed Commander, SIPA Director presented the main facts about SIPA operation, organisational structure, competence and role it has in the security system of B&H. The meeting discussed also the current security situation in B&H and the world as well as other important issues of mutual interest.

Major General Friedrich Schrotter pointed out very positive impressions shared by the liaison officer in relation to the previous cooperation with SIPA and expressed his belief that such successful cooperation will be continued in the future. He also said that SIPA is fully supported by EUFOR and that EUFOR appreciates SIPA efforts in combating all types of crime and strengthening the rule of law in B&H.

The SIPA Director congratulated the EUFOR Commander on the appointment and said that SIPA is a safe and reliable partner always at the disposal to EUFOR for any kind of support and cooperation.
