Elementary School Pupils Visited SIPA

On 7 November 2013, around 50 pupils of the “Skender Kulenović” Elementary School from Sarajevo visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) for a get-together with the members of the Special Support Unit of SIPA.

During a two-hour visit, the pupils watched a promotional video of the Special Support Unit presenting the Unit’s drills and excerpts from actual operations. They also had the opportunity to fight the Red Man, climb down the tower and test their skills in the Laser Shot. Appropriate competitions were also organised.

During the time they spent with the children, the members of the SSU demonstrated the equipment and activities of SIPA and answered their numerous questions.

Mirsad Vilić, the Commander of the SSU pointed out that such events with the children built their confidence in the police and that SIPA would organise more such visits.

After visiting the members of the SSU, many elementary school pupils expressed their wish to become police officials.
