On 19 April 2013, H.E. Patrick Moon, the Ambassador of the USA in Bosnia and Herzegovina handed the Certificate of Appreciation from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to Mr Goran Zubac, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, for his contribution in the fight against terrorism and the engagement of SIPA in the investigation of the terrorist attack against the US Embassy in Sarajevo in October 2011.
 

The Certificate of Appreciation was also handed to Mr Amer Veiz, Acting Head of the Section for Combating Terrorism and Trafficking in Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Weapons of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, as well as representatives from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and FBI Investigator.
At the awarding ceremony, the Ambassador Moon expressed his gratitude to all individuals who contributed in their work to the investigation and prosecution of this case.
