Deputy Ambassador of Japan to B&H Visited SIPA

Today (12/18/2015), Deputy Ambassador of Japan to B&H, Kazumasa Miyazaki, and the Secretary for Security and Consular Affairs, Atsushi Shibasakijem, visited State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with the Director of SIPA, Perica Stanić.

The meeting focused on all aspects of the work of SIPA, the competences and the role it plays in the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the current security situation. During the conversation with the representatives of the Embassy of Japan, Director Stanić stated that the priorities of the work of SIPA are: fight against terrorism and funding of terrorist activities, fight against financial crime and corruption, with special emphasis on proactive and preventive actions, aimed at creation of secure environment for the citizens of B&H.

Deputy Ambassador of Japan supported SIPA's efforts in the fight against the most complex forms of crime, congratulated the Director of SIPA on his appointment and wished him every success in the work.
