SIPA

Today (14/4/2016), inspectors of Criminal Police Sector of Celje Police Directorate visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with SIPA Deputy Director Đuro Knežević and his associates. The meeting was also attended by Slovenian Police Attaché to B&H Janko Goršek.

This visit was a continuation of the successful cooperation between the competent police authorities of Slovenia and SIPA. They were presented the competence of SIPA and its role in the security system of BiH. SIPA Deputy Director presented the achievements and recent operations of SIPA.    

The meeting was also attended by representatives of Criminal Investigation Department, Financial Intelligence Department and Sector for Investigation of War Crimes and Crimes Punishable under International Humanitarian Laws. They presented the activities of their organisational units.

The meeting discussed current security challenges in B&H and the world and the need for strengthening cooperation at national and international levels in order to respond more effectively to all security challenges of today.

The visit was very successful and as such would contribute to further strengthening of cooperation and partnership between the police authorities.
