Crimestoppers in April: 372 Calls and 39 Useful Information

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials registered 372 calls to the Crimestoppers hotline in April 2015.

In this period, citizens submitted 39 useful information about planned or committed criminal offences and their perpetrators, based on which the same number of criminal and intelligence reports was made. The majority of information referred to illicit trafficking in drugs and terrorism.  

Out of the total number of useful information, 39 of them, along with the reports, were forwarded for further processing to relevant police authorities in BH and SIPA acted upon four information.  

Within this reporting period, 39 pieces of feedback were received from the relevant police authorities related to the information previously submitted via the Crimestoppers. Based on this information, one report on the existence of grounds for suspicion and one misdemeanour report were submitted to the competent Prosecutor’s Offices.
