SIPA

Today (29/12/2015), B&H Deputy Minister of Security Mijo Krešić with his associate visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with Director Perica Stanić and Deputy Director Đuro Knežević.

Since this was the first official visit of the Deputy Minister of Security to SIPA, the meeting discussed all aspects of SIPA work, its competence, organisational structure, human, material and technical capacities.

They also discussed current security challenges in B&H with focus on the fight against terrorism as a global threat and the departure of B&H citizens to foreign battlefields. The importance of cooperation between the security structures at levels in B&H and involvement of wide community in tackling this problem as well as proactive and preventive actions were also emphasised. They discussed modalities of the fight against all types of organised crime in B&H, particularly financial crime and corruption.

The Deputy Minister of Security Mijo Krešić congratulated the SIPA Director on his appointment and wished him success in his work. He said that the Ministry of Security B&H is at disposal to SIPA for any kind of support and assistance in order to be able to fight all types of crime more efficiently.
