On 26 March 2014, acting upon orders by the Court of BH and Prosecutor’s Office BH, police officials of the State Investigation and protection Agency (SIPA), arrested two individuals and searched four buildings in Srebrenica.

These activities were carried out in cooperation with members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior.

The individuals M.T. (DOB 1967) and M.T. (DOB 1959) were arrested due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in Article 193 of the Criminal Code BH “Illicit Trafficking in Arms, Military Equipment and Products of Dual Use”.

During the searches, the following items were found and seized: M-55 antiaircraft cannon, 20 mm with a single barrel and 50 grenades, M 53 machine gun, automatic rifle, pump rifle, gun, explosive devices and various calibre ammunition, as well as other military equipment.

The arrested individuals were brought to the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency in Tuzla where they were criminally processed. Thereupon, within legislative deadline, they will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office BH for further procedure, along with a report on the perpetrated criminal offence and perpetrators.
