In order to get familiar with the prosecutorial investigations, the nine-member delegation of the Prosecutor’s office for organised crime and Service for combating organised crime and corruption of the Republic of Serbia Ministry of Interior will visit on 6 and 7 December, 2011 the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, which already use the above methodology.
During the two-day visit, the prosecutors and representatives of the Serbian Police, through exchange of experience with B&H counterparts will be presented positive and negative aspects of the so called prosecutorial investigations, which they will start conducting from 15 January, 2012, after the new Criminal Code of Republic of Serbia enters into force. B&H and Serbian police and prosecutorial representatives will also discuss previous cooperation, current joint cases, cooperation between police and prosecutor's offices and between police and suspects.
