SIPA

Today (30/10/2015) – Ambassador of the Russian Federation in B&H Petr Ivancov with his associates visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with the SIPA Deputy Director Đuro Knežević.

The meeting discussed all aspects of SIPA work, its competence and role in the security system of B&H as well as current security situation. The SIPA Deputy Director pointed out that SIPA priorities are fight against terrorism and financing terrorist activities with particular focus on proactive and preventive actions, organised crime, financial crime and corruption as well as war crimes.

Ambassador Ivancov expressed readiness of the Russian Embassy to support and assist SIPA’s work and development and acknowledged SIPA’s previous efforts in combating the most complex types of crime. The meeting also agreed modalities of future cooperation.
