Ambassador of Republic of Slovenia Visited SIPA

On 11 February 2014, H.E. Iztok Grmek, the Republic of Slovenia Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Janko Goršek, Slovenian Police Attaché, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), where they met with Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA.

Since this was the first official visit by the newly appointed Slovenian Ambassador in BH, all aspects of the Agency’s work, its competence, organizational structure and role in the security system of BH were discussed at the meeting.

Director of SIPA presented all important success details of the Agency, particularly the recent operations carried out. He pointed out that SIPA had the most powerful investigative capacities for combating the most complex types of crime.

Ambassador Grmek and Attaché Goršek said they were satisfied with the cooperation with SIPA and pointed out that this Agency was the primary partner of the Republic of Slovenia in fighting the most complex types of crime in BH.

New models and directions of future cooperation were agreed at the meeting. They will be specified in more detail at operational working meetings.
