Ambassador of People’s Republic of China Visited SIPA

On 14 May 2013, H.E. Dong Chunfeng, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and attended a meeting with Mr Goran Zubac, the Director of the Agency.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China was introduced to the organisational structure of SIPA, competences and all other relevant details about its successful operation, including the current security situation in the country.
In the framework of these topics, the Director Zubac presented SIPA’s previous achievements and particularly emphasised recent operations in combating organised crime. He said that SIPA investigated and solved the most complex criminal offences in Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasised that cooperation with partner agencies in the country and region was an imperative for us.
H.E. Dong Chunfeng said that although he took office only recently, he was already familiar with SIPA’s operations, which demonstrated that the Agency was efficient and determined in performing work from its competence in line with law and justice. He pointed out that SIPA had his full support and that the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China would remain SIPA’s permanent partner in the fight against crime. He also wished success in the future work of SIPA and the implementation of its goals and invited the Director Zubac to visit the Embassy of the People’s Republic China in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
