Ambassador of Kuwait Visited SIPA

Today (10/3/2015) - Ambassador of Kuwait to B&H, H.E. Nasser Riden Thamer Almotairi visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with Director Goran Zubac.

Since this was the first official visit of the Ambassador of Kuwait to SIPA, the meeting discussed all aspects of SIPA work, its competence and role in the security sector of B&H as well as current security situation.

Director Zubac pointed out that SIPA priorities are fight against terrorism and financing terrorist activities with special emphasis on proactive and preventive actions, as well as organised crime, financial crime, corruption and war crimes. He informed the Ambassador that SIPA had established a Special Team to Fight Terrorism which closely cooperates with partner agencies in B&H, region and beyond and all human, material and technical capacities of SIPA are put into operation to combat terrorism. Zubac emphasised that particular attention will be focused on strengthening overall SIPA capacities in order to ensure that SIPA keeps pace with time.

H.E. Nasser Almotairi expressed his support to SIPA overall efforts in fighting the most complex types of crime. The meeting also agreed on future cooperation modalities.
