SIPA

On 29 January 2014, H.E. Maria Aurora Mejia Errasquin, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with the Director Goran Zubac.

Since this was the first official visit of the Ambassador Mejia Errasquin, all operational aspect of the Agency, its competence, organisational structure, results and role in the BH security system were discussed at the meeting.

Director Zubac presented results of the recent operations of SIPA in fighting organised crime, particularly the operation code-named “Lutka”, as well as “Bos” and Master”, operations covering financial crime and corruption. He pointed out that SIPA was determined in fighting all types of crime in its full capacity.

H.E. Mejia Errasquin congratulated the Director of SIPA on recent successful operations and overall results of the Agency and wished for more success in its future work.

At the meeting, it was concluded that the cooperation so far had been successful and it would be improved in the future.
