SIPA

Today (25/1/2016), Italian Ambassador to B&H, H.E. Ruggero Corrias with his associates visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with SIPA Director Perica Stanić.

As this was the first visit of the Italian Ambassador to SIPA since the appointment of Perica Stanić as director, they discussed SIPA activities to fight the most complex types of crime and its future plans as well as current security challenges in B&H and the world. Corrias and Stanić discussed bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest with particular focus on fighting terrorism as a global phenomenon.

The SIPA Director pointed out that the fight against terrorism and financing of terrorist activities is a priority of SIPA as well as the fight against all types of organised crime.

The Ambassador of Italy and SIPA Director expressed their satisfaction with the successful cooperation so far and their belief that the cooperation would be continued and improved in the future.

HE Ruggero Corrias congratulated the SIPA Director on his appointment and wished him success in his work.
