Ambassador of France Visited SIPA

Today (12/03/2015), Ambassador of the Republic of France to B&H, H.E. Claire Bodonyi, with associates, visited State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with the SIPA Director, Perica Stanic, and his closest associates.

The current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed at the meeting, with special emphasis on the fight against terrorism and organized crime, security threats and challenges, and the way these could be effectively confronted.

H.E. Bodonyi pointed out that cooperation with SIPA has been very successful, and emphasized joint work on cases in various fields in the past. She placed special emphasis on the last operation in the fight against trafficking in human beings, which was carried out by the joint investigation team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France. Ambassador Bodonyi said that the Embassy of the Republic of France is at SIPA’s disposal and it will be open to any aspect of cooperation in the future.

SIPA Director expressed his satisfaction with the so far successful cooperation and pointed out that it will be improved in the future. Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of France congratulated the Director of SIPA on his appointment and wished him success in the work.
