„Crime-Stoppers“ in August

In August 2017, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officials registered 270 calls on the telephone line "Crime Stoppers".
In the aforementioned time period, citizens submitted 14 useful information on committed or planned criminal offences and their perpetrators, based on which the same number of criminal intelligence reports was made.
In addition, 71 reports were received through the electronic criminal offense reporting form, of which 14 useful information on committed or planned criminal offenses and perpetrators, based on which the same number of criminal intelligence reports was made.
The majority of information referred to the criminal offences of the illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs. Out of the total number of useful information received through "Crime-Stoppers" and electronic form, 32 were forwarded for further proceeding to competent police authorities in BiH and SIPA acted upon six information.
In the reporting period, 15 feedbacks from the competent police and other authorities were received, which were related to the previously submitted information, received through "Crime-Stoppers" or electronic criminal offense reporting form.
In addition, SIPA police officials gave 94 recommendations to the citizens who contacted them via anonymous and free telephone number "Crime Stoppers" - 080 020 505.
