On Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched four business facilities in Sarajevo and detected and seized 18.418 image and sound carriers of various content suspected of being illegal, as well as a hard disk containing various electronic copyrighted works.

Business Premises where “Pirates” were Detected Report on Committed Criminal Offence will be Submitted against Shops’ Owners

Against the owners of the searched facilities a report on the committed criminal offence set out in the Article 243 Paragraph (1) of the CC B&H (Unauthorised Usage of Copyrights) will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H.

This action is a continuation of ongoing activities with the aim of preventing unauthorised usage of copyrights. It was carried out upon the order from the Court of B&H, with a support of the Canton Sarajevo MoI officials.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency’s police officials will continue their activities in copyright protection.
