13 Kilograms of Skunk Seized in Operation Codenamed „Rampa“

On 2 August, 2013 Six individuals were arrested in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia within the operation code named 'Rampa' coordinated by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and Croatian Ministry of Interior with the aim of disrupting an international drug smuggling chain.
Acting by the orders of the Prosecutor's Office, the SIPA members assisted by the Ministry of Interior of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton apprehended individuals with initials PŽ and KZ due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under the Article 195 of the CC B&H "Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs," in conjunction with the criminal offence under the Article 250 of the CC B&H "Organised Crime."
13 kg of narcotic drugs 'skunk' have been seized so far within the 'Rampa' Operation. The apprehended individuals are brought to the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency and Mostar Regional Office for criminal processing after which they will be handed over to the B&H Prosecutor's Office for further action. Searches at four locations in the municipalities of Mostar, Stolac and Čapljina are underway.
The activities in this case will be continued and the public will be duly informed about the outcomes.
