SIPA

As a follow-up of the activities under the case codenamed “Koverta“, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched a residential building in Ključ Municipality and arrested one individual. These activities were carried out upon the orders of Una-Sana Cantonal Court in Bihać and Una-Sana Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office.

The individual with initials ĐM was deprived of liberty due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 342 of the CC FBH “Organised Crime“and in conjunction with the criminal offence 380 of the CC FBH “Accepting Gifts and other Forms of Benefits”, criminal offence under Article 383 of the CC FBH “Abuse of Office or Authority” and criminal offence under Article 382 of the CC FBH “Illicit Interceding“.

Following criminal processing, ĐM will be handed over to the Una-Sana Cantonal Court for further proceedings.
The day before yesterday (06/09/2014), within the same case, SIPA arrested two individuals with initials EK and HP and searched buildings in six locations in the Una-Sana Canton. Several individuals were also questioned as witnesses.

The activities in this case will be continued and the public will be subsequently informed about the outcomes.
