Č.P. and T.B. Apprehended in Prijedor

In a joint police action of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Republic of Srpska Ministry of Interior in Prijedor, two individuals with initials Č.P. and T.B. were apprehended today, August 27, 2009 based on grounded suspicion that they committed a criminal offence from Article 172 of the Criminal Code of B&H "Crime Against Humanity" in the area of Travnik and Kneževo / Skender Vakuf on August 21st, 1992.

Upon criminal processing at the State Investigation and Protection Agency's premises, the apprehended individuals will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, upon whose order the action was carried out.

Based on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina order, a search of living and other premises owned by Č.P. and T.B. was carried out. Possibly retrieved war documentation, along with a report on the search, will be forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
