SIPA Searched Several Locations in Gradiška and Prijedor within "Copy" Operation

Acting by the orders of the Court of B&H and Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA, searched several locations within Copy Operation in the area of Gradiška and Prijedor Municipalities. These activities were assisted by police officials of the Republic of Srpska MoI.

The searches were conducted due to grounds for suspicion that certain individuals committed the criminal offence under the Article 243 of the CC B&H „Impermissible Use of Copyrights“. The searches resulted in discovery and seizure of certain quantity of forged textbooks, central processing units and other computer equipment brought into connection with perpetration of the mentioned criminal offence, which can be used as evidence in further proceedings.

The Prosecutor's Office of B&H will be informed about taken measures and actions as well as the outcomes.
