Today, 6/2/2014 – Police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended an individual with initials MV in Orašje due to grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 238 of the CC FB&H “Illicit Production and Sale of Narcotic Drugs”.

Acting by verbal orders of Orašje Municipal Court and with prior approval of Posavina Canton Prosecutor’s Office, SIPA members searched the residential facilities used by MV and inspected the location where the suspect during the deprivation of liberty rejected a package wrapped in a duct tape.

The operation resulted in discovery and seizure of total 451 g of herbal substance resembling “marihuana”.

The apprehended individual is brought to the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency and after criminal processing together with a report on committed criminal offence will be handed over to the competent prosecutor’s office for further proceedings.
