Acting upon the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office BH, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one individual in the area of Zenica early this morning.

The individual with initials JČ was deprived of liberty due to grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence under Article 173 of the CC B&H “War Crimes against Civilians” against Croatian victims in the area of Vitez Municipality during 1993.

The arrested individual was brought to the premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency for criminal processing after which he will be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office for further proceedings.
