Several Buildings Searched and DR and DR Apprehended in Laktaši and Drvar

Today, January 21st, 2010, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) apprehended in Laktaši and Drvar two persons with initials D.R. i D.R. due to a grounded suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in the Article 172 of the CC B&H (Crimes against Humanity).

After criminal processing at SIPA premises, the apprehended persons will be handed over for further legal proceedings to the Prosecutor's Office, by whose orders the action was carried out.

By orders of the Court of B&H, the housing and other buildings used by the arrested persons were searched in Banja Luka, Laktaši and Drvar. SIPA's investigators found and seized a comprehensive documentation related to certain wartime events, which along with the report on conducted search will be submitted to the Court of B&H.

The operation was carried out in cooperation with the police officials of RS MoI and MoI of Canton 10.
