On 3 February 2013, police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), while continuing activities within the cases by the code names of “Lutka” and “Jahorina”, arrested M.Ž. (born 1981) in Istočno Sarajevo under suspicion of taking part in a murder on 18 November 2005 in the settlement of Vraca in Sarajevo.

The arrest, which was carried out in the evening hours, is a part of ongoing activities by the State Investigation and Protection Agency in cooperation with other police agencies in BH with the aim of solving the most complex criminal offences committed in the area of Sarajevo Canton and Istočno Sarajevo.

Upon criminal processing at SIPA’s premises, M.Ž. will be handed over for further processing to the Prosecutor’s Office BH, upon whose order he was arrested, along with a report on grounds for suspicion of having committed the criminal offence set out in the Article 250 of the Criminal Code BH (Organised Crime), in conjunction with the criminal offence set out in the Article 166 Paragraph (2) Item a) of the Criminal Code FBH (Murder in a Cruel and Insidious Way).

Police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office BH and other police agencies, will continue activities in solving and documenting criminal offences committed by the criminal organisation investigated by “Lutka” and “Jahorina” cases, whose criminal activity seriously disrupted the security system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and caused insecurity of its citizens and institutions.
