Large Amount of Military Weapons Found in the Area of Tešanj Municipality

A large quantity of military weapons was found in a location Trešnjev panj, Tešanj Municipality, today 1/11/2013. Based on the preliminary assessment, around 500 recoilless gun grenades of 84 mm calibre were found. Securing of the location is in progress and is carried out by the police officials of the MoI of Zenica – Doboj Canton.

According to the available intelligence, the weapons can be brought into connection with the weapons discovered by the SIPA members in July this year in Kaloševići village in the same municipality.

The SIPA continues a months-long investigation aimed at discovery of all locations that could contain hidden mine-explosive devices as well as finding the individuals involved in these illegal activities. The public will be duly informed about further investigation details.
